With an excellent location, everything you need to be comfortable, and a kind and helpful host like Nuno, I give this listing my highest recommendation.
The walk to the ocean is about 5 minutes, where you can also find a large grocery store. You can walk to Funchal city center in 25 minutes, or to Formosa Beach in about the same time in the other direction. Public transit is also easily accessible.
As this was not my first time in Funchal I can appreciate just how great my stay here was. I hope to stay in this flat again in the future!

Great central location right above a grocery store. Communication with the landlady was great and prompt. It was great to have a parking slot available in the building. The location is really lively as it is right in front of a central market.

Spaceful studio with everything you need for a conformable stay (shorter or longer). The biggest advantage for me is its location in Lido - beautiful area and it is very easy to go anywhere in Funchal (on foot or by bus).

Perfect place! Regardless the flat looks out to the south side, the sun is not annoying, you always can close the bedroom with black-out curtains. And, of course, ocean view with cliffs makes every your day staying there happy.

The kitchen is fully equipped. Unfortunately, limited space hasn't allow to amount dish-washing machine.

Many slots to store your belongings and your road suitcases. Fast internet and beautiful balcony to drink wine in the evenings.

The appartments also has the garage space where you can park renting car or bicycle/moto.

I had an amazing stay here! Humberto is a warm and welcoming host! The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great, though be prepared for a bit of a workout on the uphill walk to the apartment due to the elevation. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with a fantastic host!

This is the great place to live and rest. Views from the balcony are stanning. A supermarket is 5 mins by walk. Bus station is near by. The apartment has everything for life. The landlord is super friendly as a majority of portugeses. He replies quite soon to my queries.
Only one drawback is that the building located near to road so it might be quite noisy.

Isabel is great: easy to reach and she replies quickly. The apartment is clean and spacious, really nothing to complain there. The only reason for bringing the 10 all the way back to a 7 is the noise. The great location close to the market and restaurants comes with a drawback: the noise from the streets in combination with single glazing was quite disruptive to our sleep.

Owner of this accommodation is the best what happened to us on Madeira! He is a brilliant guy, who really taking care of tenants. I give him 11 out of 10! Everything from check-in to check-out went very smoothly. The house itself is very well equipped for long stayers (kitchen stuff is good, we were cooking by ourselves), nice view from the patio with fantastic sunsets, good location for commute (bolt taxi to flat part of Funchal is around 5-6 euros), however, we walked on foot as well. Also, there are a huge supermarket and a few smaller grocery store nearby, but be prepared for a landscape (elevation).

We recently stayed in this flat for a month and had an excellent experience! The apartment is spacious, providing plenty of room to spread out and feel at home. It's also incredibly quiet, making it a perfect place for relaxation. One of the bedrooms offers a stunning view, which was a beautiful sight to wake up to every morning.

The cleaning lady was amazing; she ensured the place was spotless throughout our stay. The cooperation with the owner was also fantastic—very responsive and accommodating, making our stay even more comfortable.

The only suggestion we have is to consider installing a dishwasher, especially for longer stays, as it would add an extra level of convenience.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with this rental and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and serene place to stay!
