On Flatio since April 2025
Make yourself at home in this furnished three-bedroom house in Barca, Maia, featuring two terraces, a balcony and separate spaces for relaxing, dining and spending time together. Traditional furnishings, wooden floors and outdoor areas create a welcoming setting for an extended stay.
**Everyday living**
On the ground floor, the living room offers comfortable seating, a television and natural light. A separate dining room features a large table and storage furniture, providing a dedicated space for meals with family or friends.
The kitchen includes cupboard storage, a hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, with access to the outdoor area. Also it has a "hidden meal table" disguised as a drawer, that you can pull and push when you need to use it (fits 3/4people)
**Three upstairs bedrooms**
All three bedrooms are on the first floor and have windows and wooden flooring. One bedrooms have double bed, the other has a samll double bed, and another with a single bed. One of the bedrooms opens onto a street-facing balcony overlooking the leafy and garden surroundings.
The house has two bathrooms: one with a shower (ground floor) and another with a bathtub (1st floor). A separate staircase from the bedroom hall floor leads to the attic, providing additional space.
**Two terraces and an annex**
Two terraces offering space to enjoy breakfast outdoors, relax in the sunshine or unwind at the end of the day.
An additional annex includes a functional sink, fireplace, storage and a washing machine, providing a practical utility area and extra space for spending time together.
The house is also equipped with an alarm system.
The house is located in a no entry street, so there isn't any traffic. The neighbourhood is very calm (you can actually hear the birds in the morning); neighbours are very friendly and willing to help.
**Location and local amenities**
• Close to the Auchan Maia hypermarket and its shopping gallery, with shops and everyday services. Approximately 3 minutes by car.
• Bus station: 2 min walking
• Car wash: 1 min by car
• Petrol station: approximately 2 minutes by car
• Maia town centre: 5–7 minutes by car
• Various Metro stations (with parking) 5 min by car.
• Porto Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro: approximately 10–25 minutes by car
• Porto city centre Aliados/Trindade area: approximately 20–30 minutes by car
A welcoming option for anyone looking for a furnished home with separate living areas and outdoor space for a stay of several weeks or months.

Once you send a booking request, the host is notified that you are interested in their listing. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your booking.
Hosts are mainly interested in the profile of their guest. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your booking will more likely get approved.
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every listing. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the hosts on Flatio.
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the host and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
In the event that you move in and the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio, let us know as soon as possible!
If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent.
If you cancel your booking up to 14 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent.
If you cancel your booking less than 13 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.
The service fee is always refundable.
If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee.
After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.
