About me

Hi there, I am Flora, an artist from London UK. I get all the inspiration for my art from the beautiful landscape of the Algarve, it really is a very special place - those towering burnt orange cliffs, those huge golden beaches and that Bougainvillea so shockingly pink it hurts your eyes! I have come here every summer all my life but over the winters our family home is empty and in need of company. It's a stunning location, from the top terrace you can see the ocean and the coastline all the way to Sagres, the edge of Europe. Porto de Mos is my favourite beach in the Algarve and it has two great restaurants open all year round. It's a 20min walk into the bustling town of Lagos so you are near enough to enjoy a bit of the action but far enough to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a beach house. It's a lovely place to be during the winter months and the cliff-walks are fantastic.
